How I Work

I work with adults who feel stuck in familiar patterns, anxious, overwhelmed, or challenged in their relationships or self-connection. Many clients come to therapy with insight into why they feel the way they do, yet find it difficult to make lasting changes on their own. Together, we explore how these patterns may have developed and how they continue to influence present-day experiences.

My approach is attachment-informed and trauma-aware, with a strong focus on the nervous system and lived experience. Sessions are collaborative and paced carefully, with an emphasis on safety, choice, and building trust.

I draw on several therapeutic frameworks, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-informed therapy, and somatic and experiential approaches. We may explore relational patterns, notice body-based signals of safety and threat, and develop strategies to respond more flexibly to life’s challenges.

The focus is on stabilisation, integration, and meaningful, sustainable change. Many clients find that over time they feel more grounded, better able to respond rather than react, and more connected to the life they want to live. This work is often medium- to longer-term, allowing space for safety, trust, and transformation to develop.
